The Fruitland Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of

Patrol Officer.

 We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual who is dedicated to serving our community with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Idaho driver’s license
  • No felony convictions or disqualifying misdemeanors
  • Ability to pass a background check, written test, polygraph evaluation, and medical/physical fitness exam

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Idaho POST Certified or certifiable

 Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting wage: $23.10 – $35.50 per hour (DOE)
  • 10-hour shifts with rotating weekends off
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays
  • Paid overtime

  • Take-home patrol vehicle program (if residency requirements are met)
