Utility Rates

The following rates are for a 3/4" service line:

Monthly water rate is $44.99 plus $1.72 per 1,000 gallons used.

Monthly sewer rate is $36.01.

A minimum bill with no water usage is $81.00.

Utility Bills

Utility bills are sent out the first of each month and due on the 20th. If payment is not received by the 25th day of the month, a $5.00 delinquent fee will be assessed. If the past due amount is not paid by the 22nd of the following month, services will be terminated and a $25.00 fee will be assessed. If services are terminated, the delinquent and current balances of the account shall be paid in order to restore service.

In addition to the postal service, payments may be made at city hall during business hours, through the drop box at your convenience, or online. A 3% fee is assessed for using a credit/debit card.

Direct Pay: When you sign up for Direct Pay, your water and sewer bill is paid directly from your bank account. No more writing checks, remembering due dates or paying convenience fees. You will continue to receive monthly invoices showing the amount due. Your payment will automatically be drawn from your bank account on the 15th of each month.  Direct Pay Application
Level Pay: Equal Pay allows a customer to pay a water/sewer utility bill in twelve equal monthly payments, balancing high water usage months due to irrigation utilization with low water usage months. This takes the guesswork out of budgeting for your water/sewer bills. You will pay an even monthly amount through the year as opposed to paying larger bills in the summer months.
